Efficient Home Solutions is a small, family-run business in Durham, NC. Owner Brad Dehring has been providing crawl space encapsulation services to the Triangle area for over a decade. Prior to this he worked in water and fire damage restoration, making his overall home improvement experience in North Carolina close to 20 years. 

Brad has extensive knowledge of the unique challenges homeowners face due to the hot and humid North Carolina climate and how that effects the environment under their homes. He believes that every house is unique and so are the necessary solutions to properly treat issues like damp, musty, and moldy crawl spaces. 

Brad will work with homeowners to ensure the steps taken are the best way to address any concerns they may have so the end result is a clean, dry crawl space and an efficient and healthy home.

Efficient Home Solutions provides crawl space encapsulation services which may include any / all of the following: vapor barrier, insulation, mold remediation, French drain, sump pumps, de-humidifer. 

Every homeowner will receive a unique plan to properly address their crawl space concerns. EHS prefers a complete crawl space encapsulation, but on rare occasion will offer just one of the above-mentioned services after extensively discussing the pros and cons with the home owner.

Brad will schedule an initial appointment with you to come to your home, evaluate your crawl space and note significant concerns that he finds. He will discuss these with you and also note any additional concerns you may have. Brad will then put together a personalized, comprehensive plan to address these crawl space concerns along with an approximate timeline that it will take for work to be completed. Once you are on the schedule for work to be completed, Brad will communicate with you throughout the process, doing a walk through himself at the end prior to closing up the job. 

Efficient Home Solutions does not suggest a partial encapsulation because it does not meet residential building codes which can be an issue that may come up in the future for homeowners.
